Joan Robey’s work is included in several collections, including the Peter Norton Family Trust and Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami. She has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the United States for fifteen years, ranging from exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum to the Orange County Museum, Newport Beach. Influenced by the art of Kandinsky, Serra and Nevelson, Robey is most noted for her juxtaposition of reclaimed and re-used objects. The dynamic themes found in her body of work continue to permeate through this new series of abstract forms.
